Our client is a major company in the service industry and is seeking a suitable candidate for the role of the Head of Research and Intelligence. Interested candidates must meet the requirements specified for the position.

Key Skills Requirement

Research, data analysis, report writing, economic and industry analysis

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for gathering intelligence information from the industry.
  • Scanning the business environment to enable the group’s business remain at the top of its game.
  • Engage in daily research, gathering and analyzing of valuable information from primary and secondary sources
  • Produce daily intelligence report to the Commercial Directorate
  • Be abreast with information from various news sources
  • Keep daily watch on competitors’ activities and the industry
  • Monitor government and economic policies at national and international level
  • Analyse and interpret the impact of information gathered on the industry and on the group’s business
  • Identify opportunities and threats to the business from the information gathered and report same
  • Report directly to the Head of Commercial Directorate

 

Qualification: A degree in Economics, Statistic, Mathematics and any social science field.

Experience: No less than 5 years’ experience as a Researcher in Research Company is a requirement.
