Mosunmola

Cynthia Mosunmola Umoru first sign of becoming an entrepreneur began as a child when she started making hair clips and ribbons to sell at a local secondary school. She had a passion to study Medicine and wrote the entrance examination into medical school for which she had the 3rd highest score in the nation. Unfortunately, she ended up studying Zoology. At the university, she began to develop interest in Agriculture and opted for elective courses such as fisheries. Mosunmola also engaged in some marketing projects and in her final year, she launched Honeysuckles PTL Ventures with the aim of selling processed food produce. Soon after, Miss Umoru had the opportunity to supply snails, chicken and catfish to one of the fastest growing food retail chains in the country. However, scarcity, inconsistency in supply and poor quality produce led her to establish her own farm.
