Finance Assistant: EngenderHealth

JOB DETAILS

  • Assist in processing payments by ensuring documents for payment are complete, in line with the provisions of Engender Health SOPs; and preparing the related Payment Vouchers and writing checks
  • Maintain a register of documents sent out of the Accounts Unit
  • Track the turnaround time of requests processed by the Accounts Unit by maintaining a tracker on the Common Drive
  • Posting Petty Cash transactions into Quickbooks
  • Work closely with the Project Accountant to ensure and operate an efficient filing system for all EH Nigeria financial transactions
  • Provide Finance support at EngenderHealth organized meetings, workshops and trainings.
  • Assist with internal audits and annual external audit by maintaining all supporting documentation for quick reference

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSc. or HND in Accounting, Business Management, Financial Management or related field.
  • Minimum 2-year relevant work experience
  • Experience working in NGO and experience working with a USAID supported project will be an advantage
  • In-depth knowledge of MS Excel and working knowledge of QuickBooks is strongly desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
