Billing and Compliance Officer: AIM Group

Job Purpose:

S/he shall be responsible for attending to customer’s queries, reconciliations and assisting the Accounts Supervisor with billing.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Daily application of payments from customers against invoices in aquira
  • Will be responsible for preparation of invoices on a monthly basis.
  • Will retrieve confirmation orders from traffic or control for all jobs for the billing month
  • Will be responsible for Sorting and arranging  by agency
  • Print and attach the invoices to the MPO on a monthly basis
  • Photocopy signed invoices and MPO’s on a monthly
  • Check the completeness of invoices sent for approval by comparing with Aquira invoice listing.
  • Prepare invoices for dispatch by registering in invoice register
  • Coordinate and monitor dispatching of invoices and ensure acknowledgement copies are filed properly
  • Will be responsible for responding to clients queries on billing
  • Check for completeness of acknowledged copies of the invoices dispatched monthly
  • Prepare manual proforma invoices/COT upon request
  • Monthly reconciliation of Customers account
  • Prepare monthly revenue reports for Management
  • Prepare business analysis of monthly revenue, highlighting trends and performance
  • Monthly reconcile customer’s statement in Aquira with the General ledger

Compliance duties

  • Daily tracking and logging of compliance queries
  • Prompt and timely resolution of compliance queries
  • Provide weekly reports of non-conformity
  • Attend compliance meetings for resolution of debit notes 

 

Requirements

Educational requirements and Experience:

  • Newly completed NYSC candidate
  • Strictly Accounting graduate with HND – Upper Credit Or Bsc - Second class upper (2.1)
