Banke Kuku: Founder/Creative Director, Banke Kuku Textiles

Banke Kuku, a Nigerian-born fashion entrepreneur has been fascinated with knitting since she was 5. Her continued fascination with fabrics led her to study an Art and Design foundation course and eventually Textile Design at Chelsea College of Art and Design. Banke kuku is now the CEO/Creative Director of Banke Kuku Textiles, producer of bespoke woven and printed fabrics for the fashion and interior industry. Making her way in the fashion industry, Banke has worked with a number of fashion brands including Burberry, Duro Olowu, Jewel by Lisa and Jasmine di Milo fashion house where she earned the name “The Queen of Colour.” For anyone who is on the downside of advantage and rely solely on courage to excel significantly in entrepreneurship…It is possible!
